‘Never Leave’ added to triple j spot rotation
Following on from releasing a slew of highly praised songs, Sydney-based indie-pop upstarts, The Lulu Raes, are proud to announce their brand new single ‘Never Leave’, and the release date and pre-order of highly-anticipated forthcoming debut EP ‘All Our Parents Are Divorced’ (due Aug 5).
Influenced by Oasis, The Strokes and The Pixies, their latest cut ‘Never Leave’ is led by beautifully arranged guitar-driven hooks, which effortlessly carry the song and meld with the endearing croons and melodies of front man, Eddie Bomber Burton.
Since their inception in 2014 the band have released standout singles ‘The Way Life Runs’, ‘Reputation’, ‘Swing Me On A Vine Of Sunshine’, ‘Burnout’ and ‘Infinite Paradise’, which have collectively received full rotation on triple j, FBi and other community radio stations. ‘Burnout’peaked at #3 on the AIR ‘Independent Radio Chart’ and finished up in triple j’s ‘Most Played’ weekly chart on two occasions.
The band have also graced stages with the likes of Sticky Fingers, Dune Rats and DMA’s, and appeared at mainstay and boutique festivals Groovin’ the Moo, Blurst Of Times, Secret Garden, Lost Paradise and Festival Of The Sun.
Continuing on with their hard work ethic approach to touring, The Lulu Raes, will set out on the road in June supporting crowd favourites, The Jungle Giants, featuring on four dates across the East Coast capitals and in Adelaide.
The quartet have recently signed with tastemaker label Verge Records and will release debut EP ‘All Our Parents Are Divorced’ on Friday August 5.
An accompanying music video for ‘Never Leave’ will be released in the coming weeks.
