Finally I had the chance to listen to the new Darcys single called ‘Miracle’, and it’s just that, a little bit of a miracle. The band shrunk from a four-piece down to a duo, now only consisting of Wes Marskell and Jason CouseI, and I think it’s actually good that they’ve come out of the shadow of this mystical genre called art-rock and instead gone into the musical direction of a more light hearted dream pop number a la MS MR, The Weeknd or The 1975. I mean, you can still bring your message across, and why not try and reach a wider audience at the same time. Good on them…..

‘Miracle’ was produced by recent Grammy and JUNO-award winner Shawn Everett (Alabama Shakes, Julian Casablancas) and mixed by Matty Green (The Weeknd).
