‘SWIG’ CLUB EVERY THURSDAY AT VICTORY MANSION STOKE NEWINGTON HIGH

SWIG is London’s only art-rock club night, launched as a way to bring together other music fanatics in East London. They have created it in partnership with Kieran Leonard (now performing as Saint Leonard) whose single ‘Underwood Milk’ we posted about last year. The SWIG Crew would like to invite our readers to come and join them on Thursdays from 8pm.
The night features weekly guest DJs who play their favourite tracks by artists like David Bowie, Nina Simone, Beck, and Radiohead. At their launch last week they had Saint Leonard as guest DJ, and this week they are hosting nightclub impresario and music manager Sean McLusky. The night runs on Thursdays at 8pm at Victory Mansion, Stoke Newington High Street, and is always free-entry with a free cocktail available to attendees. This Thursday, 17th of March, they will also team up with the venue staff and offer a meal for £12.50 per person or two people sharing 5 dishes for £25.
They want to foster a social atmosphere where fans of art-rock and other alternative music can gather and hear all the tracks that never get played in clubs. They hope you will join them for this art-rock club night.
