23 APRIL – THE MOTH CLUB, LONDON

IS TROPICAL have released their new album ‘Black Anything‘ today via NYC based Axis Mundi Records.
A labour of love and tenacity, Black Anything saw IS TROPICAL travel to almost every corner of the globe on a shoestring budget to record it. Wanting to mirror their recording experience, the band have released the record in parts, each one representing one of the continents it was recorded in.
From the nocturnal sounds of the North American installment (Pt.1 – Crawl/On My Way), to the eclectic pop of the European one (Pt. 2 – Cruise Control/Say), from the rapturous beats of the African part (Pt.3 – Fall/Lights On), to the sunlit tones of the Asian one (Pt.4 – Follow The Sun/Now Stop) and to the last part, South America (Believe/What You Want), IS TROPICAL take us with them on their journey of discovery and experimentation.
