“I’ve just had the pleasure of mastering the superb new single by Ethan & The Reformation. Absolute stunning band highly recommended by me” – Pete Maher
Ethan & The Reformation are a five piece Psychedelic Rock band formed in September 2015. A chance meeting between Singer/Rhythm Guitarist Ethan Dundavan Davies & Lead Guitarist Mick Mack at Germany’s “Wonderwall Festival”, who were both performing alongside the likes of Jefferson Airplane, soon lead to the pair seeking a complete line up. Ethan’s school friend Samuel Parker soon joined on Keyboard and supporting vocals, with James Cordeiro following on Bass shortly afterwards. The lineup was completed when Thomas Oliver Gorton joined the band on drums after meeting Ethan on the local Manchester Circuit.
Previous gigs include slots with The Crazy World of Arthur Brown in Milton Keynes and Manchester outfit Cupids, who, fresh from touring the UK with Blossoms, invited Ethan & The Reformation to support them at their sell out show at Manchester’s The Deaf Institute.
The bands debut release ‘Hollandia’ (as premiered on BBC Radio Manchester) and the rest of their material was recorded at Manchester’s Vibe studios and was produced by Dean Glover and studio owner Martin Coogan, former frontman of The Mock Turtles and brother to legendary Manchester comedian, Steve Coogan. The tracks were mastered by Pete Maher, who’s impressive roster includes The Rolling Stones, U2, Jack White, Noel Gallagher, The Killers, Beady Eye, Paul Weller and many more.
