DIY champions ‘Syslak’ release animated video ahead of debut EP release

Snotty Leeds punks Syslak unveil their self-made animated video for track ‘Skin’ taken from their eponymous debut EP out on CHUD Records.
The punchy 8 track EP, out February 15th, was self recorded throughout 2015 in line with the band’s passionate DIY ethos. The band’s sound marries the transatlantic influences of Radiator Hopsital’s modest pop-punk with the raw energy of ‘Lovebites’ era Buzzcocks, to create a fresh and contemporary punk sound. Will (Vocals) said:
“We didn’t really have a clue what we were doing, but we did it anyway. We did the recording, the video, the art and the printing ourselves. We’re DIY through obsession with process as much as political statement.”
