Cage the Elephant’s forthcoming London show has moved from Shepherd’s Bush Empire to The Forum on Thursday 11th February. Originally scheduled for Saturday 13th February, the venue and date has changed due to ongoing structural work at Shepherd’s Bush Empire. All tickets remain valid and refunds are available from point of purchase. Also, owing to overwhelming demand, Liverpool and Manchester shows have been moved to bigger venues (see below for details). The band, who just confirmed Chrome Pony as main support on the tour, have also sold out their Bristol and Nottingham shows.

Cage The Elephant released their new album ‘Tell Me I’m Pretty’ to widespread critical acclaim last month.  The album was produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys &
The Arcs, mixed by Tom Elmhirst (Amy Winehouse, Adele, Florence + the Machine) and recorded at Easy Eye Sound in Nashville, TN.

The band, who are the subject of a major Rolling Stone feature this month, made a somewhat ’lively’ appearance on Jimmy Fallon last week: http://www.nbc.com/the-tonight-show/video/cage-the-elephant-mess-around/2963668

Cage The Elephant’s forthcoming gigs will be the bands’ first since playing with Foals at Alexandra Palace in Feb 2014. The Times raved about those shows, reporting, “charismatic singer Matt Shultz ended stripped to the waist, upside down in the crowd, feet flailing above the heads around him”. The band recently performed an equally exhilarating set during a secret show at CMJ with Consequence of Sound describing the show as “absolutely wild” and said “Matt Shultz has developed a reputation as a fearless performer, and his daredevil antics were on full display.”
