One of Australia’s most enigmatic and endearing front men, Pepa Knight, has just unveiled his cover of Tame Impala’s brilliantly crafted gem, ‘Eventually’.

The Central Coast-based musician’s version explores a dreamy ambient take lined with lutes, resonator guitars, light percussion, flute, glockenspiel and beautifully arranged vocal harmonies.

The Jinja Safari songwriter / multi-instrumentalist first launched his solo project in early 2014 and kicked significant goals early-on, receiving full-rotation airplay on triple j for single ‘Clams’, a feature from Rolling Stone India and inclusion on the line-ups for boutique festivals Mountain Sounds Festival and Secret Garden.

The first volume of his recordings ‘Hypnotized Vol.I’ (2014) was widely embraced by worldwide blogs and tastemakers with Rolling Stone Australia describing the record as –  “Compositions that inevitably engulf the listener, making them equally positioned for festival crowd sing-a-longs and headphone solitary.”

After touring throughout the country in 2015, Pepa’s cover of ‘Eventually’ precedes the forthcoming release of ‘Hypnotized Vol. II’ – the anticipated follow-up to his debut EP release. The record will be released in early 2016.

‘Eventually’ is now available to stream via Soundcloud:
