RELEASES THUMPING DEBUT SINGLE, ‘NEW’

Central Coast-based producer / vocalist, Fontine has just unveiled thumping debut single ‘New’, which was recorded at his home studio and co-produced/mixed by George Nicholas (Seekae).

On his first offering Fontine commands his deep brooding vocals likened to The National, Nick Cave and Jack Ladder, melded with hauntingly eclectic production inspired by Crystal Castles and Goldfrapp; Fontine’s debut single showcases a unique ability to combine dark sonic textures with pop sensibilities proficiently.

In support of the release, Fontine has announced his debut shows in December supporting SAFIA, Boo Seeka and Surfdisco on the NSW Central Coast and will be opening up Rare Finds monthly club night in Sydney alongside recent triple j Unearthed winners Mar Haze and locals Phantastic Ferniture who will be launching their latest record.

‘New’ is lifted from Fontine’s forthcoming debut EP, which is scheduled for release in early 2016. An accompanying music video will also be released in the coming weeks.
