YAK RELEASE VIDEO FOR THIRD MAN RECORDS SINGLE “NO”
7″ NO EP OUT NOVEMBER 13TH (PRE-ORDER NOW)
PERFORMING AT CMJ THIS WEEK FOR FIRST EVER US SHOWS
ANNOUNCE BIGGEST EVER UK HEADLINE TOUR
As announced last week, Yak are set to release their most thrilling material yet with their second EP, produced by Pulp’s Steve Mackey. The No EP will be released on November 13th via Third Man Records, and is available for pre-order now.
Today the London trio have unveiled the official video for the EP title track “No”. Directed by ex-Jesus And Mary Chain member Douglas Hart (who’s also made videos for Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine and The Horrors), the disorientating, sense-exploding clip captures exactly why Yak are fast becoming known as the UK’s most ferociously exciting live band.
Watch the official “No”:
“This snarly, overdriven cut from the band’s latest 7″” wrote Noisey of “No” upon the song’s debut on SoundCloud last week, is “bitten into with a gutter-punk fang and a growling British accents.”
