THE MARKS CARTEL release their brand new single ‘Take Me Home’ produced by Lee House their first release since signing to End Of The Trail Records ‘Take Me Home’ is released on 24th July 2015. ‘Take Me Home’ is quantum leap forwards for the Swansea band with a sound that is unashamedly commercial. THE MARKS CARTEL are a label’s dream, a grafting, hard working band who are not afraid to write tunes that will trouble radio. Having supported VANT, PRETTY VICIOUS and THE HEARTSTHE MARKS CARTEL are now ready to take centre stage themselves working with a new producer on a new label.

‘Take Me Home’ imbibes Kasabian’s throbbing bass spikes it with the middle finger attitude of Arctic Monkeys before blitzing liberally with hooks reminiscent of Royal Blood. There are no pretentions and no fey indie posturing here. This is contemporary indie rock at its very best.THE MARKS CARTEL are Matt Turner (vocals & guitar), Kristian Tabram (guitar & vocals), Rhodri Allcock (bassist & vocals) and Emyr Lewis (drums). THE MARKS CARTEL formed in 2013 in the tiny Welsh village of Cwmllynfell and took their name from the notorious Welsh cultural icon and his ‘organisation’
===========.
Airplay support includes Nicky Horne, Team Rock
Radio, KDHX RAdio (USA), Adam Walton (BBC Introducing Wales), Andrew Shay, Nation Radio
Wales and Dave Owens, Wales Online.

Artrocker
“Raw, unapologetic rock music that sounds like the result of a fight between Oasis and The Arctic Monkeys, officiated by Royal Blood.” http://www.artrocker.tv/

The Vinyl District
“Louder, angrier, and rockier. THAT’s where you go. It’s fistintheairlageronthedancefloor
anthem with some epic guitar work that harks back to the best of ’90s Britpop, and vocals
that—despite their Welsh heritage—you’d be forgiven for thinking the band were born in raised in Manchester, England’s Northern Quarter.” http://www.thevinyldistrict.com/

Gigslutz
“ Welsh rockers, The Marks Cartel, have gone all out for their debut single ‘Curtain Call’.
Already receiving radio play and rocking out crazy shows in Swansea, they’re ready to take it to the next level. It fits perfectly with the weighty, bass dominated track which contrasts with Matt Turner’s growling vocal, interjected with mad falsetto. Influences from Royal Blood and Kasabian are clearly visible
hopefully meaning they can find their way into the new rock revolution.”http://www.gigslutz.co.uk/
